Bok Tower Gardens
Known for its oak-shaded walkways, carillon tower and panaramic hilltop view…It is also one of
two state centers for propagating rare Florida plants. (The other is the Fairchild Tropical Gardens in Miami)
Look for the endangered plant garden along a circular path behind the visitor center. There are also
educational displays on the unique scrub and sandhill habitats, gopher tortoise in scrub ecology and discussions
on why it is important to save rare species.
